At Holding Hands we love to share our outside space with our animals:

Hi, I’m Blue!

I am a rescue rabbit from a local meat market, I enjoy spending lots of time outdoors and having my own space. I like to relax quietly and teach children that it’s important to respect when someone needs a little space and calm time.

Hi, I’m Fred!

I am a rescue cockerel who came to the nursery from a rescue centre. I’m the only cockerel here and I love looking after my chickens and keeping everyone together. You’ll often see me watching over the group and making sure my girls are safe and happy.

Hi, we’re the Chickens!

There are eight of us and we are very friendly. We enjoy gentle visits from the children and we lay fresh eggs every morning, which the children love to help collect. We are very happy to be part of nursery life and to share our days with everyone.

Hi, we’re Banana and Shadow!

We are indoor rabbits who really love cuddles, brushing and gentle grooming. We are very friendly and enjoy spending calm time with the children, helping them learn how to be kind and gentle with small animals.

Hi, I’m Mika!

I’m a visiting therapy dog and I love coming to the nursery to play and spend time with the children. I’m very gentle and especially enjoy being around younger children, helping them feel calm, happy and safe.
